By accessing or using Sikuruliya ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use this platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and service providers.
Sikuruliya is a classified advertising platform that allows users to post and browse legal service advertisements. We are an intermediary service provider only.
We explicitly do NOT:
- Organise, facilitate, manage, or participate in any meeting or service transaction
- Verify, guarantee, or endorse any service provider's identity, qualifications, or services
- Act as an agent, employer, or partner of any service provider
- Take responsibility for the outcome of any arrangement made using this platform
All interactions, meetings, transactions, and agreements between users and service providers take place entirely outside our platform and are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
🚫 The following are STRICTLY PROHIBITED on Sikuruliya:
● Pornographic, sexually explicit, or nude content of any kind
● Advertising or soliciting illegal sexual services (prostitution)
● Human trafficking, exploitation, or coercion of any kind
● Content involving or targeting minors (persons under 18)
● False, misleading, or fraudulent advertisements
● Harassment, threats, or abusive behaviour toward any user
● Any activity that violates Sri Lankan law or international law
● Collecting personal information of other users without consent
Violations will result in immediate account suspension and permanent ban. We reserve the right to report serious violations to law enforcement authorities.
By posting an advertisement on Sikuruliya, you confirm and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- All information in your advertisement is accurate and truthful
- Your advertised services are legal under Sri Lankan law
- You will conduct all services in a professional, lawful manner
- You will not use the platform to engage in any illegal activity
- You take full legal and personal responsibility for all services you provide
Sikuruliya bears absolutely no liability for any advertiser's services, conduct, or actions.
As a user of this platform, you agree to:
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes
- Exercise your own judgment and caution when contacting service providers
- Meet service providers only in safe, public environments
- Not share your login credentials with others
- Report any suspicious or illegal activity to us immediately
⚠️ Sikuruliya bears no responsibility for any harm, loss, injury, financial loss, or any other consequence arising from your use of this platform or from any interaction with any service provider. You engage with all service providers entirely at your own risk.
All advertisements are reviewed by our moderation team before publication. However, we cannot guarantee that all content is accurate or lawful. We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion without notice. Our approval of an advertisement does not constitute an endorsement of the advertiser or their services.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIKURULIYA AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM:
(a) Use or inability to use the platform
(b) Any meeting, transaction, or interaction with a service provider
(c) Any content posted by users on the platform
(d) Unauthorised access to your account or data
(e) Any other matter relating to the platform
This platform is strictly for users aged 18 years and above. By using Sikuruliya you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you must leave this platform immediately. We reserve the right to verify age and terminate accounts of underage users.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
